Quack, folks! 🦆🏎️

I love speed. Real speed. The kind that makes your feathers flatten and your heart race faster than a Red Bull pit stop.
I come from the land of windmills, bicycles… and Max Verstappen. A small country that somehow produced a guy who can tame 1,000 horsepower like it’s a tame duck on a quiet pond.
Max doesn’t win because he floors it harder than everyone else. He wins because of precision. Engineering. Strategy. Teamwork.
And knowing exactly when not to go flat out.
Now look at the AI race.
America and China are on the grid, engines screaming. Full throttle. No lift. No yellow flags. “Faster! Bigger! Scale!” they shout, pushing the pedal through the floor.
Europe? We’re standing on the sidelines, holding a thick handbook titled “AI Act – Volume 1: Please Read Before Accelerating”.
Everyone’s obsessed with speed. Compute power. Parameters. First-mover advantage.
Soon, they say, we’ll all have a Formula 1-level AI engine parked in our driveway. Unbelievable power. Lightning acceleration.
But here’s the quack truth: There’s only one Max Verstappen. And there’s only one driver who truly knows how to handle that kind of machine.
The rest of us? If we all get handed an F1 car but never learned the track, the apexes, the tire management…
We won’t win.
We’ll spin.
Or worse.
Formula 1 isn’t just about raw speed. It’s about the right technology, a coherent strategy, a long-term plan, a team that manages risk… And a driver who knows when going too fast becomes dangerous.
The global AI race is heading the same way.
America and China are pushing me forward — hard. I can feel their hands on the back of my car, yelling “Go! Go! Go!”
But I’ve got my wings on the wheel.
Eyes sharp.
Beak focused.
Because the future isn’t won by the one who accelerates first. It’s won by the one who still knows how to steer.
And maybe — just maybe — a little Dutch caution, a little European strategy and a lot of windmill wisdom is exactly what this race needs.
See you at the finish line.
But I’ll get there in one piece.
Stay Curious. Stay human. 🦆🏁
Quackingly yours, stay curious,
