Our Funding Principles

• No funding may influence research content.
• All donors must respect Altair Media’s Research Independence Charter.
• Funding sources are disclosed annually, grouped by category and amount ranges.
• Political parties, lobbying entities and opaque intermediaries are not eligible as funders.

Funding Categories

Public Funding
EU programmes (e.g., Creative Europe, Horizon Europe), national research grants, and other public institutions.
Foundations & Non-Profits
Support from philanthropic organisations aligned with transparency, research and responsible innovation.
Corporate Support (Limited & Controlled)
Organisations aligned with responsible AI, technology governance or public-interest innovation. All corporate funding undergoes an ethics review.
